Norwegian Log-Building Study Programm
1-st week
The main tools and materials for Norwegian log-building technology.
Prepare the logs for building.
Technology of the Norwegian notches markings.
The use of Norwegian axe for making notches.
Landing the top notch to the bottom.
Technology markup longitudinal groove feature, making groove saws and refinement adze.
The procedure for calculating the location of compensation and cutting holes.
Terms of reading drawings.
Rules of the site prepare for log-building house project.
The order of presentation of blind alleys, corners and intermediate bearings with the use of a laser level and roulette.
2-nd week
Technology bookmarks first crown with the control diagonals.
The order of selection logs.
Practical training in manufacturing log house facility small architectural forms (arbor).
3rd week
Technology deckhouses pediments.
The calculation of the location of the OS (Norwegian sleg), the order of their marks.
Technology line-up the pediments in the same plane.
The technology of cut window and door openings.
Technology markup and cutting corners.
The order of numbering series for the log house, window and door openings.
4-th week
Procedure for dismantling log house.
Technology make finished parts of log house broad planes and stacking.
Technology of timber harvesting, primary processing, sawing, and drying logs in stacks.

50% prepayment not later 2 week before the course and 50% at the start day – 1 200 EUR for 1 student.

The Price includes: learning, live at dormitory near the school building site, rent of all the necessary tools, an interpreter for the English language during the training.
